House restumping is the process of replacing defective stumps or footings with new stumps. The foundation of most older homes were built with timber (mainly redgum) stumps. Over time timber stumps can rot and deteriorate due to changing soil conditions, water damage or even termite infestations. When your house is restumped the floor is also relevelled using the latest electronic laser technology.
