What is House Relevelling?

Over time ground movement can also cause movement in your home's foundations.  If your home is already on concrete stumps and they are still in good condition the house may only need relevelling and packing. This involves jacking up the subfloor bearers and then packing the stumps with malthoid and/or cement sheet. We use an electronic water level to ensure the floor is as level as possible. Please note, levelling is done to existing fixed points such as fireplaces or brick walls.

Does My House Need Relevelling?

Signs that your house needs relevelling include squeaky floorboards, cracks in plaster and cornices, gaps beneath skirting boards and doors not closing properly or jamming.
